The Mother Tongue Languages Symposium (MTLS) is an annual event co-organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) and the Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee (TLLPC).

We are invited to do 1 long webpage design for MTLS 2022 because the project – Singapore Chinese: “Then And Now” we designed and developed for SFCCA is selected and recommended by MTLS 2022 to all students in Singapore.

Singapore Chinese: “Then And Now” is a 3d interactive website showcases 7 differently themed galleries depicting the history of early Nanyang immigrants and their contributions, the founding of the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations and the contributions made by clan associations of various dialect groups. It also highlights traditional Chinese customs and festivals. An interactive and informative platform, this virtual gallery aims to cultivate students’ interest in Singapore Chinese history and culture and share with students the significant role clan associations have played, and still play, in building the Chinese community.
